Rooting for RACHEL! A fund raising event benefitting Rachel Sconza, who is suffering the effects of a devastating brain injury, will be held on Friday, September 9th, 7 pm until 12 midnight at 115 Bourbon Street. Please save the date and we hope you can participate in some way. Christ the King Catholic Parish is located in the North Beverly community on the Southwest side of Chicago.  The area is home to tree-lined streets, historic homes, thriving commercial districts, art centers, and beautiful parks.  We are located approximately twelve miles south of the Chicago Loop, Beverly’s official boundaries are 87th Street on the north; 111th Street on the South; Sacramento on the west and Ashland to the east.

Residents of the community, however, have long pushed the borders out, particularly to the south, and subsequently redefined its limits. Host to approximately 20,000 residents, Beverly has long been characterized as the soul of Chicago’s Irish-American population and with good reason.
