Welcome to Christ the King Catholic School Board

Mission Statement

Background and Purposes

The School Advisor Board serves “to assist in the development of the policies which shall govern the operation of the Christ the King School, to assist the Pastor in hiring the Principal, to review the annual budget, to determine sources of funding and to provide counsel and advise in the operation of the School…” CKSAB Constituition, Art. II.

To raise money for the School, the Board hosts a number of events throughout the school year, including a Pancake Breakfast, an annual Winter Fundraiser, a Mardi Gras blowout, Trivia Night, The Innisbrook Wrapping Paper sale and the QSP Magazine Drive and assists in overseeing MANNA.  All proceeds from these events go directly into the school’s operating budget.  Please check this website or the School calendar for upcoming dates.

School Advisory Board Meetings

School Board meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month in the Parish Center unless otherwise indicated in the King’s Page or in the Principal’s newsletter.

All parishioners are welcome to attend. The School Board’s Constituition provides that nonmembers who wish to speak at a School Advisory Board meeting shall be limited to two minutes of speaking time related to an agenda item or an issue that concerns the board.
