Rooting for RACHEL! A fund raising event benefitting Rachel Sconza, who is suffering the effects of a devastating brain injury, will be held on Friday, September 9th, 7 pm until 12 midnight at 115 Bourbon Street. Please save the date and we hope you can participate in some way. Christ the King Catholic School, Tuition, and Fees has established the following tuition rates and fees for the 2011-2012 school year.

 

Tuition payments begin July 1, with equal payments due on the first of each month through April 1.

 

Beginning with the 2011-2012 academic year, there will be a 3.5% fee for payments made by credit card.

 

Manna Obligation

The Manna program is in place to help families meet there fundraising obligation through purchasing popular store gift certificates for personal use.  Each family is asked at packet pickup day to elect to use the Manna program or to pay the fundraising obligation at that time. 

The current year obligation is $ 250. 00

 

Families electing to use the Manna program will accrue monies towards their $ 250.00 through the discount given to Christ the King by the stores.  The differences between the face value of a certificate and the cost CK pays for a certificate will be calculated and accumulated for each paid Manna order.  This accumulated total per order will be called a "credit".  Credits will be totaled and reported quarterly.  At the End of the CK fiscal year, the $ 250.00 obligation will be subtracted from the family total and 50% of any remaining total will be for the CK family to use towards the following year's tuition or as a donation to the Gleeson Fund or General School Fund.

TUITION AND FEES KINDERGARTEN-GR. 8

Parishioner

1 child                                 $ 4, 630.00/year                   $ 463.00/month

2 children                           $ 8, 250.00/year                   $ 825.00/month

3 children                           $ 10, 960.00/year                 $ 1, 096.00/month

4+ children                        $ 11, 630.00/year                 $ 1, 063.00/month

Non-parishioner/non-Catholic tuition   $ 5, 500.00 per child.

 

Student Fee

$ 275.00 per student is payable at the time of registration or by May 1. This fee covers:

·         Student Archdiocesan fee

·         Textbooks and workbooks

·         Reference materials & library supplies

·         Audiovisual equipment

·         Supplemental classroom materials

·         Copy machine paper and supplies

·         Art class supplies

·         Subscription Fee for Power-School

·         Subscription Fee for School/Reach

·         Students' Subscription fees

 

Students are responsible for all books issued to them and must pay full price of any book that is lost or defaced.  Books must be carried to and from school in a book bag or backpack. 

The Parish subsidy supplements costs over and above the instructional fee.

 

 

 

PRESCHOOL TUITION AND FEES

Registration fee                               $ 90.00 per child

2-day program for 3 yr. olds        $ 1,660.00  yearly per                   $ 166.00/month child                                                                                               

3-day program for 4 yr. olds        $1,920.00/yearly per                     $ 192.00/month child                                                                                                 

 All children entering preschool must be three/four on or before September 1 of the current school year.

After School Care

Hours of Operation:  2:50 - 6:00 pm Regular School Days

 No Care Available on half days and the day prior to Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter breaks

 

Registration Fee: (nonrefundable) $ 25/per child

Rates:                                  $ 8.00/hour for 1st child

                                              $ 5.00/hour for each additional child

                                              $ 15.00/hour per child not registered in program

Late Payment Fee:           $ 15.00

Billing Information:

·         You will be billed by the hour.

·         The billing period is Monday-Friday.

·         A weekly bill will be emailed to you by Saturday.

·         Payment is due on Monday.

 

Attendance Information:

·         Attendance sheets for each month are included in your After School Care registration packet and are due the week prior to the month starting.   It is imperative that you return your attendance sheets on time.

·         Due to safety concerns, changes to the schedule are not encouraged.  If a change is required, you must notify the School office of any changes BEFORE “After School Care” starts for that day.

 

Reminders:

·         “After School Care” is held in the Christ the King Primary Center

·         All children must be signed out by an adult before they leave.

·         If payments are not received by the following week, your child/children may not attend “After School Care” until all fees have been paid.

·         All children are to be picked up by 6:00 pm.
