Mission Statement
Background and Purposes
The School Advisor Board
serves “to assist in the development
of the policies which shall govern
the operation of the Christ the King
School, to assist the Pastor in
hiring the Principal, to review the
annual budget, to determine sources
of funding and to provide counsel
and advise in the operation of the
School…” CKSAB Constituition, Art.
II.
To raise money for the School,
the Board hosts a number of events
throughout the school year,
including a Pancake Breakfast, an
annual Winter Fundraiser, a Mardi
Gras blowout, Trivia Night, The
Innisbrook Wrapping Paper sale and
the QSP Magazine Drive and assists
in overseeing MANNA.
All proceeds
from these events go directly into
the school’s operating budget.

School Advisory Board Meetings
School Board meetings are held
on the second Tuesday of each month
in the Parish Center unless
otherwise indicated in the King’s
Page or in the Principal’s
newsletter.
All parishioners are welcome
to attend. The School Board’s Constituition provides that nonmembers who wish
to speak at a School Advisory Board meeting shall be limited to two minutes
of speaking time related to an agenda item or an issue that concerns the
board.
